The importance of adequate software for full and meaningful use, and development of a language is obvious. Its lack has deprived Kashmiri of the unlimited benefits of the Internet. Kashmiri language of over three million speakers has found a special software InPage useful, but it has yet to benefit from the commonly used modern facilities like Microsoft Office, and OpenOffice .

Kashmirilanguage.com is happy to fulfill this need. It offers a Kashmiri Keyboard , in addition to the previously offered (now improved) font Narqalam and Gulmrag Nastaleeq font in one package. The software, first one to meet the requirement, is available free for download, with instructions for its installation and use. We believe competent Kashmiri software experts will keep adding to it, and self-learning students, teachers, media users, and writers will use it to its full potential.
